This Refunds and Returns Policy governs the refund and return procedures for products purchased from Cape View Nursery ("the Nursery," "we," "us," or "our"). We value our customers' satisfaction and strive to provide the best possible service. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations regarding refunds and returns.
2. General Refunds and Returns
a. If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable product purchased from Cape View Nursery, you may request a refund or exchange within 14 days of the original purchase date.
b. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in saleable condition.
c. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required for all refund and return requests.
d. We reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges for products that do not meet the above criteria.
3. Perishable Products (Plants and Other Living Products)
a. Due to the perishable nature of plants and other living products, refunds and returns for these items are subject to specific conditions outlined below.
b. Cape View Nursery guarantees that all perishable products are healthy and of high quality at the time of purchase (unless otherwise stated in which case the perishable product will be on clearance or similar)
4. Refunds for Perishable Products
a. In the event that a perishable product is received in poor condition or shows signs of damage upon collection, you must notify us within 24 hours of collection or delivery.
b. To request a refund for a perishable product, you may be required to provide photographic evidence of the product's condition at the time of collection or delivery.
c. Refunds for perishable products will be issued in the original form of payment.
5. Returns for Perishable Products
a. We do not accept returns for perishable products after they have been collected or delivered, except in cases where the product is found to be faulty, damaged, or not as described.
b. For faulty or damaged perishable products, please refer to the "Refunds for Perishable Products" section above.
6. Cancellations and Amendments
a. If you wish to cancel or amend your order, including perishable products, please contact us prior to the time of collecting your order.
b. Depending on the status of your order and the time of your request, we may not be able to accommodate cancellations or amendments.
7. Refunds Processing Time
a. Refunds for non-perishable products will be processed the same day we receive the returned item.
b. Refunds for perishable products will be processed promptly upon verification of the product's condition.
c. If perishable products are returned on a weekend, Cape View Nursery reserve the right to seek advise from our plant experts on the next available business day prior to completing the refund request.
8. Exclusions
a. The following items are not eligible for refunds or returns:-
· Gift cards and vouchers.
· Products that have been used, altered, or damaged after collection or delivery.
· Clearance Items
b. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as detailed by Australian Consumer Law.
