DESCRIPTION:
A small to medium shrub, with an abundance of beautifully fragrant semi-double flowers, dark mauve in bud opening to a mauve-pink in mid spring.

FOLIAGE:
Green heart shaped leaves.
FLOWERS:
Dark mauve in bud opening to mauve-pink. Strong frangrance.
COMMENTS:
Plant in full sun. Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.
TREE CARE:
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
